The Scarsdale Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation has deemed this week to be “SUPERHEROS WEEK “by joining the Westchester Recreation and Parks Society’s “Camps Care About Hunger” food drive to help those in need.
Through participation in this year’s program, all of our campers are considered Superheroes for fighting hunger in Westchester County. Throughout the week of July 24, all Department of PRC’s Day Camps will be collecting nonperishable food items at their camp locations. The food drive will conclude on Saturday, July 27 at Superheroes Day at the Scarsdale Municipal Pool Complex, where we will aim to fill a Scarsdale Village Vehicle with food donations.

If you are unable to donate at a camp location or the pool complex, items can be dropped off by this Friday, July 26 at the Department of PRC Offices located at 244 Heathcote Road, Scarsdale, NY. All donated items will be brought to a local food bank in an effort to restock their shelves and feed those in need.
Now is the time to rise up and be a Superhero - please join the cause!
