Annual Parade to Honor Veterans This Monday, November 11 The Village of Scarsdale and American Legion Scarsdale Post 52 invite the entire community to participate in the Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 11, at 10 a.m. starting at Chase Park. The ceremony will commence with keynote speakers and will be followed by a parade at 10:30 a.m. in honor of those who have served in the various branches of the military to keep our country and our community safe. We will also be swearing in Sushi, the Scarsdale Police Department’s new police wellness and community engagement dog! Street parking for the parade is available on East Parkway. |

Citizens Nominating Committee Election Tuesday, November 12 Scarsdale residents are urged to vote in the Citizens Nominating Committee (CNC) election on Tuesday, November 12, from 7-10 a.m. and 2-9 p.m. at the Scarsdale Library. Mail-in ballots must be received by the Procedure Committee by election day, Tuesday November 12. There are 11 open CNC spots up for election. Each year, the 30 members of the Scarsdale CNC choose a slate of non-partisan candidates to run in Scarsdale’s March election for Mayor and Village Trustee positions. Committee Seeks Nominations for Scarsdale Bowl, Spotlight Award The 2025 Scarsdale Bowl Committee is looking for nominations for both the 2025 Bowl Award recipient and 2025 Spotlight Award recipient. The Bowl Committee seeks as many deserving candidates for consideration as possible. The Committee will hold its first of several meetings dedicated to selecting the honorees on December 8. Nominations for both awards are due by December 6. Candidates for the Bowl Awards must be Scarsdale residents who do not currently hold elected office. Click here for the nomination form. The Spotlight Award recognizes a Scarsdale resident or institution that has focused on moving the needle in one particular area, and candidates may not currently hold elected office.
