Street Parking

Winter Parking Restrictions Lifted

Scarsdale’s seasonal overnight parking restrictions are no longer in effect. As of April 1, residents and visitors may once again park on public streets and in Village-owned lots and garages between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM. The restriction, in place annually from December 1 through March 31, helps facilitate snow removal and winter street maintenance.

Important Notice Regarding Unsolicited Water Quality Testing Kits

The Village of Scarsdale has been made aware that some residents have received unsolicited water quality testing kits and related notices from private companies. These materials are often distributed as part of marketing efforts to promote the sale of water filtration or treatment systems. Please be advised that these kits and communications are not affiliated with the Village of Scarsdale. The Village does not endorse or partner with any private water testing companies. Residents are under no obligation to use these kits or respond to the notices. For any questions or concerns, please contact the Village Water Department at 914-722-1138.

Budget Hearing

Reminder: Budget Hearing To Take Place Tuesday, April 8

The Village of Scarsdale will hold a public hearing on the tentative FY 2025-26 budget on Tuesday, April 8, at 8 p.m. at Village Hall and online. At a March 25 work session, Village Manager Alex Marshall presented a proposed budget designed to maintain essential services and invest in community priorities. The proposal includes a 3.95% tax levy increase ($1.93 million), exceeding the state cap—based on the lesser of 2% or inflation—by $456,606. For the average household, this would result in an estimated annual increase of $203.25. View the tentative budget and the Village Manager’s full presentation here.
