Scarsdale Pool Complex Opens Saturday!Dive into summer fun at the Scarsdale Municipal Pool Complex, opening Saturday, May 24, at 9 a.m.! The facility offers four pools, a concession stand, playground, gaga pit, sand volleyball court, and basketball court. Showers, changing rooms, and restrooms are also available. Throughout the season, enjoy special events and swimming lessons for all ages. Memberships are available for Scarsdale residents and can be purchased in person at the Recreation Office, 244 Heathcote Road. Non-resident permits are sold out. Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony – Monday, May 26The Village of Scarsdale and the Scarsdale American Legion Post 53 will host the annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in the Village Center on Monday, May 26. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Chase Park, followed by the parade at approximately 10:30 a.m. The parade will travel up Popham Road, continue onto Church Lane, and return to Chase Park via Crane Road. A map of the parade route is available here. We invite all residents to join us in honoring the more than one million men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Junior League Honors Scarsdale Students for VolunteerismAt a May 20 ceremony at Wayside Cottage, the Junior League of Central Westchester awarded $1,000 Volunteer Service Awards to four high school juniors for outstanding community service. Scarsdale students Catherine Zhang and Alina Yang were among the honorees. Catherine is an active member of the Girl Scouts and tutors English through Connect and Learning. Alina is the founder and president of Guardians of the Heart, a nonprofit dedicated to youth education on cardiovascular health, and also volunteers with the American Heart Association.

By creating an account, you can view your daily and hourly consumption, detect leaks early to avoid costly surprises, set custom alerts for high usage or unusual activity, and review historical usage trends to stay informed and in control. Senior Trip: Art & Italian Fare Along the HudsonEnjoy a scenic day trip featuring lunch at Primo Waterfront in Newburgh and a guided tour of Dia Beacon, a renowned contemporary art museum overlooking the Hudson River. A coach bus will depart from the Scarsdale Pool Complex at 10:30 a.m. and return around 5:30 p.m. The $75 fee includes transportation, lunch, and museum admission. Pickleball Round Robin Play Days – June at CrosswayThe Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with John Cassas, is excited to offer four Pickleball Round Robin Play Days this June at the Crossway courts: - Sunday, June 1 | 4:00–5:30 p.m.
- Friday, June 6 | 5:00–6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 11 | 9:30–11:00 a.m.
- Saturday, June 21 | 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
These sessions are open to players of all skill levels, though a basic understanding of the rules and scoring is encouraged. Matches will be organized and rotated by professional staff. A 2025 Pickleball Permit is required. Space is limited—register early at scarsdale.gov/catalog.

Travel Softball Fall 2025 Tryout Registration Open Through May 30Registration for Scarsdale Travel Softball Fall 2025 tryouts is open through Friday, May 30 at 9:00 p.m. Mandatory two-day tryouts will be held at Hyatt Field: 8U tryouts are scheduled for June 12 and 13 from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.; 10U tryouts will take place on June 16 and 17 from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.; and 12U tryouts will follow on June 16 and 17 from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m. Teams will compete in the Greater Hudson Valley Softball League.
