village spotlight September Means Back to School: Drive Safely in Our CommunityThe Village reminds all motorists that September marks the start of a new school year, when our streets become busier with school buses, children walking and biking, and parents making drop-offs and pick-ups. While this is an exciting time for students and families, it is also an important reminder to drive with extra care. Please slow down in school zones, watch for children, and always stop for school buses with flashing red lights. Anticipate heavier traffic during school hours, allow extra travel time, and remain patient. Most importantly, stay alert and distraction-free—every safe choice behind the wheel helps protect the children and families of our community.
