2025 Scarsdale Fall Cheer Clinics

We are very excited to offer our cheer clinics this fall. No experience is necessary to participate .  These clinics cater to all ages and skill levels from beginner to advanced.  Classes will be taught by award winning instructors from local high school coaches and Iona College cheerleaders under the guidance of director Chrissy Stanionis. Chrissy has over 25 years for coaching high school and middle school programs and is now a judge for New York State and Varsity Brands.

5 Classes
Tuesdays Dates 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28
Kindergarten—2nd   5:30pm—6:30pm
Introduction to cheer covering the basic fundamentals and incorporating team building games to boost confidence.  Proper stretching , jumps, motions, sidelines and stunt drills will be taught all while having FUN !

Tuesdays Dates 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28
3rd—5th grade 5:30pm - 6:45pm
Grades 3rd-5th  Improving individual skills with a focus on jumps, proper motion technique,stretching , sidelines , stunts and team building games. Beginners are welcome to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading

Wednesdays 10/1,10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5

Wednesdays 10/1,10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5
7th- 8th  grade 5:30pm—7pm 
Developing and improving skills used in the middle school cheer program.  The focus will be on jumps. Flexibility, learning cheer motions and sidelines . Stunt drills will also be taught and team building games will be included.


All clinics will be at the Scarsdale Middle School gyms with pickup and drop-off at the breezeway. Sneakers and appropriate attire are required. After the program begins,
no refunds -- full or prorated -- will be granted.
